Performance statistics of broadcasting networks with receiver diversity and Fountain codes

چکیده
The performance of broadcasting networks employing Fountain codes with receiver diversity techniques is investigated in the present work. Particularly, we derive closed-form expressions cumulative distribution function (CDF), probability mass (PMF), and raw moments number needed time slots to deliver a common message all users under two schemes, namely, maximal ratio combining (MRC) selection (SC). Numerical results are supplied verify accuracy considered highlight behaviours these metrics as some vital parameters such receivers, received antennae. Additionally, also confirm advantages MRC scheme compared SC networks.
